PARKING:
Please plan to park at Moharimet Elementary School (11 Lee Road, Madbury, NH 03823).  Volunteers will direct you where to go and how to get to registration at the Madbury Town Hall.  Parking at the Madbury Town Hall is limited to officials and volunteers. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This is a NIGHT race!  Working headlamps are mandatory.  No headlamp...no race.  The gently rolling course will be illuminated by your headlamp.  The trails at UNH's Kingman Farm are the perfect site for a snowshoe race.

COURSE STATS:

Distance: 4.0 miles (approximately)

HEADLAMPS:
A working headlamp (HINT: with new batteries) is mandatory.  Kingman Farm is a very, very dark confusing place to be without a headlamp.

SNOWSHOE RACING RULES:
Minimum snowshoe size 120 square inches; you must show a working headlamp at registration and wear it at all times while on course

SPECIAL WINTER WEATHER ANNOUCEMENT:
New Hampshire winter weather can be very unpredictable and occasionally make travel hazardous.  For the safety of our volunteers, competitors, and family a final determination on the status of our races will be made the Thursday prior to each race.  The status of the race ("ON" or "POSTPONED") will be detailed on each individual race webpage.  You must check each race webpage prior to the race to assure the race will be held.  Every attempt will be made to reschedule all postponed events.  Pre-registered competitors will be given a refund or rain check.

CHILI COOKOFF:
I make a mean chili and by all accounts it's the best around.  Once again I'm ready to put my money where my mouth is with a winner take all chili cookoff.  Bring your best chili in a four (4) quart or larger crock pot.  Our judges will do a blind taste test and if your chili is selected as the winner, you'll go home with $250 of my money.  If I win...I'll claim bragging rights for another 365 days.

ALCOHOL:
No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the Madbury Town Hall premises.  Our continued use of the premises depends on adherence to this policy.

PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT:
Every acidotic RACING (aR) events benefits a non-profit in part or in total.  We're very proud that this event benefits the Cocheco Valley Humane Society.
