On Monday February 4, 2019, one of Snowshoe's oldest traditions, the Cupp Run Challenge will take place.  It is a giant slalom race for skiers & snowboarders down the legendary Cupp Run, designed by Jean Claude Killey with 1500 vertical feet and over a mile in length.

We have 16 Ski and Snowboard categories this year. NEW THIS YEAR: Male Ski 60+ and New Womens Snowboard classes 10-29 and 30+  Prizes are for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and the Overall Men and Women Ski and Snowboard category.  Register early for your Cupp Run t-shirt.  Limited quantities available. First come first serve.  

Lift Tickets and helmets are required for this event. All registrants must sign a waiver prior to the event. Anyone 17 years of age or younger MUST have a parent or guardian present to sign the waiver. Bibs will be given out at registration and are REQUIRED during the event for access to the competitor lift line. there will be NO DAY OF REGISTRATION, only packet pickup for those registered online.

Race registration is based on your RACE AGE; ie: your age on Dec. 31, 2019. This will not necessarily be your age ON the date of the race.

Discounted competitor lift tickets will be available for purchase @ bib pickup. 

New 2019: Racers only eligible to race 1 category. Racers will not be permitted to race both Ski and Snowboard to allow more people the opportunity to race this Ikonic race!

Monday February 4th, 2019:

7:30am - 9:30am PACKET PICKUP ONLY @ the Big Top

9:30am - 10:30am Course Inspection on CUPP Run

10:30am Racer Meeting @ top of CUPP Run

10:45 Race Begins

Awards will be held in The Big Top
