Learn cross-country ski skills, build fitness, and have fun in the snow!

The CMSC youth program is open to students from pre-K to eighth grade. Students are grouped to receive instruction appropriate to their age and experience. Older and more advanced skiers may join CMSC’s middle school (grades 5-8) and high school ski teams. All our programs are led by experienced, trained coaches.

Equipment: Skis, boots, and poles are available for seasonal lease. Keep them all season and ski any time. Register early for best availability. We recommend that most youth program skiers lease their equipment. Lease equipment is not appropriate for more advanced skiers on the middle school and high school teams. For equipment recommendations please visit CentralMaineSkiClub.org.

Season Passes: All skiers must have a Quarry Road Trails season pass. Passes may be purchased here, Waterville City Hall, the Quarry Road Trails Welcome Center (after December 1), or online at quarryroad.org

Transportation: Buses run to Quarry Road Trails from many schools. See CentralMaineSkiClub.org for more information.

Central Maine Ski Club is a committee of Friends of Quarry Road. Equipment lease is offered by Outdoor Sport Institute (OSI). Season passes are offered by the City of Waterville Department of Parks and Recreation, which owns and operates Quarry Road Trails.
