The New Orleans Bicycle Club is an organization dedicated to promoting bicycling, with the emphasis on bicycle racing, in the Greater New Orleans area. The NOBC was founded in 1968, and has remained at the forefront of competitive cycling activity since that time. The club is a member of USA Cycling, and actively promotes competitions throughout the year as part of the Louisiana-Mississippi Bicycle Racing Association.

The NOBC represents a wide range of cyclists, from beginning Juniors to seasoned Masters. NOBC members are always available to advise prospective members about training and racing techniques.

Club members organize training rides and seminars with the goal of developing riders for national competition. The club organizes group trips to area races, including the District Championships, and helps to defray team travel and entry fee expenses for club members who are USAC racing members of the NOBC. At the end of each season, there is the NOBC banquet, with awards for those members who were most successful or helpful during the year.

We invite you to become a member of this unique family of cyclists. All memberships are for the calendar year. All racing members should have the club jersey and/or skinsuit, available through the club. Jerseys are available to members at or below cost. Members are expected to wear the team jersey in all competitive events. USAC approved cycling helmets are required in all USAC competitions.
