Join us for the 41st annual Cottonwood 200! The Cottonwood 200 is a three-day bicycle tour of the paved roads through the Flint Hills of NE Kansas. The ride covers approximately 200 miles (75 miles on day one, 50 miles on day 2, and 75 miles on day 3). The ride is held over Memorial Day weekend.
The CW200 starts and ends at Washburn University in Topeka, KS. Ride proceeds support the Kaw Valley Bicycle Club, The Topeka Cycle Project, and USD 417.
In 1976, a hearty group of cyclists in Topeka searched for a way to celebrate the nation's 200th birthday. Realizing a round trip from Topeka to Cottonwood Falls, KS would be 200 miles and cover some of the best cycling terrain in Kansas, they established the Cottonwood 200 ride.
Free t-shirts are offered to full-ride registrants only who are registered by May 1, 2017. Registrations will be accepted through May 21, 2017.
